Night vision monocular, 2000
In collaboration with Lensel Optics, it is designed for people with very low vision, it uses ccd to enhance the image contrast and facilitate object recognition. The challenge was not to reveal that it is an aid for physically challenged persons. The device uses the obvious metaphor of camera lens, which is strongly associated with optical functions. The optical devices need accuracy and the challenge was to obtain it in small batch production. The details were developed using tool room facilities to batch produce the device.
