Project started just after the ATMs were introduced in India for the first time. It was a planned review of how people accept the new idea and adopt it. It started with contextual inquiry on why people use or don’t use ATMs. Later, the design of low cost ATM was commissioned and subsequently produced. It had number of features like privacy wings, better visibility, designed space for branding etc.
